Leading international and national experts, practitioners and researchers in injury compensation and rehabilitation discussed key industry issues at the Second Australasian Compensation Health Research Forum held at the Waipuna Conference Centre, Auckland, New Zealand on 8 – 9 October 2012.

The forum was the result of an exciting partnership between the Institute for Safety, Compensation and Recovery Research (ISCRR), the New Zealand-based Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) and the Motor Accidents Association, NSW.

The theme of this year’s forum was compensation scheme management with the program designed to assist in the production of policy relevant research.  The importance of translating research evidence into policy and practice was central to the presentations and discussion.
